By running a general information room, a children's & housewives' reading room and a periodicals room, the library provides knowledge and information through various reading materials.
Furthermore, with the digital information room, users are able to quickly access the internet, and borrow or obtain electronically published contents and original texts via the library.
For those areas in which the library is located far away, the library runs a mobile library in which the library comes to the needed community. In order to promote a reading friendly workplace, the library also runs a circulating library to corporate offices and bases.
On April 2, 2009, the braille library was opened. This library was designed for easy information access and is also albe to provide custom made information materials for the disabled.
Furthemore we also hold specialized programs for the disabled in order to lessen the information gap the disabled population may have.
During the winter and summer vacations every year, the library runs various programs for 4th, 5th and 6th graders. These programs include proper library usage, proper reading techniques and book report writing. In addition, during a week in April, the library runs a specialized week-long program and the month september is designated as a 'Reading Month' in order promote a newer image of library and to promote reading to the general public. in order to promote healthy leisure activites and as lifelong learning programs for the community. the library also runs calligraphy, ink panting, pottery, photography, and traditional Krean paper crafting classes. And form these various hobby classes, an exhibition is held in December show casing the various completed pieces from all of the classes. Furthemore, various programs such as reading, creative writing, and meeting with writers, are provided so that the library also funtions as a cultural center for the community
